About
What you do
A mic check, then a short story read in five parts — about 8 minutes on your phone or laptop. Three short talks after that are optional.
What you get
Your own vowel chart: where each vowel sits, how much it varies, which pairs you keep apart or merge, and how that compares with other speakers. It appears on your page, usually within an hour.
What we keep
Your recordings, a few answers (native language, where you grew up, age range, sex) and the analysis. No name, no email. You can delete it all with one button. Full details.
A real chart from one of us. Blue: the speaker's vowels. Grey: the reference speakers. See the full example analysis.
A research build: automatic, and some of it will be wrong. It judges vowels, never people. You must be 18 or over.
